Rocking Chair frame stripped to natural state and finished with clear varnish. Touch up service on various furniture items in the home. Home visit to assess work required, items collected and returned and reassembled. Good communication and work completed within 2 weeks as advised. I sent an email and photos to A G Podmore and David telephoned me to discuss within 24 hours. Very friendly and helpful. They collected the table, took it to their workshop and worked their magic. "I am eternally grateful to Podmores. My Charles Eames lounger collapsed - the plastic shoe joining the arm rest to the back rest failed (as they do) and I could not find anyone anywhere prepared to mend it. I approached Podmores on the off chance. They got the (special) glue from Germany and the plastic shoes from America and I have my treasured chair back in one piece. They have a "whatever it takes" attitude."
